Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Ranging of motion/exercises
- Transfers/mechanical lifting devices
- Nutritional support (oral feeding)
- Vital signs checks (temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Home management tasks (laundry, meal preparation, bed making)
- Ambulation assistance
- Medication assistance
Requirements
- One year of work experience
- Listed on the STATE Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Meet all state requirements
