Primary Responsibilities
- Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or labs, as well as learning experiences that allow students to achieve course learning objectives
- Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking during clinical rotations while fostering a positive learning environment
- Validate student competency in the clinical and lab environment
- Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students
- Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance
- Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting as needed
Education
- Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Graduation from an accredited PT or PTA program
Experience
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Hold active, unencumbered PT or PTA license
- Prior experience with supervision of students in clinical or didactic settings preferred
