PT Teller I
About the role
RCB Bank is dedicated to building Relationships, contributing to our Communities, and embracing our Boldness! Must be available to work Monday through Friday 1pm-6pm and a rotational Saturday 7:45am to Noon.
Responsibilities
- Obtain customer identification, signatures, and any other necessary required information; record and process all transactions according to regulations, procedures, and established controls at any branch location assigned.
- Examine cash, checks, and other supporting documents to verify authenticity, identify potential fraud or suspicious activity, and to protect the Bank from financial/reputational loss; follow established escalation procedures when encountering unusual or irregular transactions.
- Balance cash drawer daily while adhering to branch-level controls; promptly research discrepancies and report any outages to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of teller essentials training program after hire
Qualifications
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous float teller experience
Skills
You can communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers. You can follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in changing environments. You understand basic fraud indicators and are committed to proper escalation procedures. You care about your community and have a desire to be involved.
