PT TECH PRN

About the role

You will support patient care under the supervision of licensed staff including PT/PTA, OT/COTA or SLP. This position is ideal for a PT Tech seeking to make a meaningful impact in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare therapy areas for patient treatment as directed by the therapist.
• Assist the therapist in patient education or treatment procedures as directed.
• Use time effectively by following the tech schedule and communicating changes with treating staff, prioritizing patient needs.
• Safely use and position equipment to support patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of management of maladaptive behavior.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience in a therapy setting preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
