Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure quick and efficient placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing urgent issues.
• Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

This job description is not all-inclusive. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Store Manager as dictated by store needs.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (College experience preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.
• Creative thinking.

Essential Job Functions

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers, both in-person and on the telephone.
• Frequently move across the sales floor and to/from the stock room to assist customers and retrieve merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, as well as travel if required.
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Pay

Starting at $15.50 per hour.
