Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensure an in-store experience that aligns with company standards.
  • Initiate conversations with all customers, building a relationship to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
  • Assist customers in the fitting room and recommends products that are aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling.
  • Encourage customers to make a purchase and builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieving weekly loyalty sign-up goals.
  • Learns about new products and trends to better engage customers.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
  • Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Minimum availability of 30 hours per week including one weekend day and rotating holidays, additional availability a plus.

Essential Functions

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
  • Walk, move, assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
  • Lift and carry, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.
  • Reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Perform manual labor occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
  • Use vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.
  • Use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.

  • Pay Range for this position is: $13 - $17.
