What we offer at Willows Lodge

  • CPR certification required; employer will provide renewal training as needed
  • This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, up to 6 to 8 hours per day, and lift up to 20 pounds comfortably and repeatedly
  • Candidates must be able to perform the physical tasks associated with massage therapy, including applying pressure, assisting with guest positioning, and safely maneuvering as needed during services
  • Scheduling Requirements: Willows Lodge is unique in that our providers do not manage or pay for their own marketing, coordinators, housekeeping support, bookings, ordering, laundry, facilities maintenance, linens, tables, or tools. We provide the structure and support so our providers can focus on guest care and service. In return, we ask that our providers work with the Spa team to ensure there is consistent provider coverage onsite during business hours. We pay a minimum base wage for all hours that providers are asked to remain clocked in during business hours. This allows us to accommodate last-minute appointments and walk-in requests while also creating more earning opportunities through additional bookings, add-on services, product knowledge and sales support, trainings, and other focused Spa and Lodge initiatives
  • This onsite coverage requirement is rotated with other providers so it is shared as fairly and consistently as possible
  • Willows Lodge complies with all Washington State wage and hour requirements, including paid 10-minute rest breaks and 30-minute unpaid meal periods
  • Individual providers may determine whether they would like to waive or observe their meal period in accordance with applicable requirements and based on their scheduled appointments
  • During our high season, typically June through September, we ask that providers maintain consistent weekly availability. Due to business volume, vacation availability may be limited during peak summer months and busy winter holidays
  • We encourage our regular full-time and part-time providers to take time off during other periods throughout the year

What we are looking for

  • A licensed Massage Therapist with the State of Washington prior to onboarding, or reciprocity license if coming from another state
  • Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques
  • Willingness to train in body treatments
  • Sports massage and prenatal massage experience a plus
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent, efficient, and professional performance
  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly treatment room in compliance with health and safety standards

Compensation Structure

  • Pay averages out to be $43- $72 per massage +tips
  • You will earn: $20 /hour training rate
  • Commission ranges depending on the massage type
