PT Food Service Coordinator /Cook

About the role

Columbia Cottage in Wyomissing, PA is looking to hire a Food Service Coordinator/Cook to prepare meals for our assisted living community. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, dedicated, possesses excellent time management skills, can self-initiate tasks, works well under limited supervision, and is self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and immediately begin preparing the upcoming meal for 40-50 residents
• Carefully prep food, follow recipes, and assemble dishes in a pleasing manner
• Serve meals and interact with residents
• Clean the kitchen thoroughly after each meal, leaving it spotless and orderly for the next prep

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification is preferred
• Previous cooking experience for large groups

Pay

Starting at $17/hour, depending on experience and education.
