PT Evening & Weekend Food Service Associate

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites.

Schedule

• Weekday evenings: 3:45pm–7:30pm
• Weekends: 7:00am–2:30pm or 3:45pm–7:30pm (including holidays)
• Approximately 16 hours per week
• Flexibility to work either of the two weekend shifts is required

Pay

Up to $18.31/hour (straight pay, no tips). Pay is based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Responsibilities

• Work independently as a lead within dining room services during daytime shifts
• Prepare tables for meals
• Refill containers and clear dishes
• Handle food safely
• Attend to residents’ needs
• Take phone orders
• Ensure other servers complete tasks in a timely and appropriate manner
• Facilitate a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Cash handling experience preferred for cafeteria duties
