Evening/Weekend Food Service Associate

Job Summary

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is some weekday evenings 3:45pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-2:30pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm, including holidays, for a total of approximately 16 hours/week. Flexibility to work either of those two shifts is required. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips).

Job Duties & Skills Required

• Assist in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
• Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
• Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Qualifications

• Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• For Cafeteria Duties, Cash Handling Experience Preferred.

Pay & Schedule

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
