Job Summary

Homestead of Gardner is seeking a part-time cook to join their kitchen staff. Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods based on menu, recipe, and diet breakdowns for each meal.
• Ensures delivery of optimal food quality, timely service, and high sanitation standards.
• Works at a constant pace to prepare and serve food on time for each meal of the day.

Requirements

• Must be able to work at a fast pace to meet meal preparation and service deadlines.
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania Food Handlers Card.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in using cooking equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
