Responsibilities
- Answer phone in a prompt and professional manner.
- Forward calls, provide requested information, and take messages as needed.
- Expedite sales/marketing calls.
- Absorb and route incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Absorb urgent staffing needs and assist with calling part-time and PRN staff to cover vacant shifts.
- Obtain information for residents, assist them to register for activities or services, and ensure they sign out and back in during absences.
- Communicate service requests to the maintenance department.
- Maintain reception areas and keep them tidy.
- Create forms, run reports, do internet research, and complete other clerical duties.
- Monitor and respond to the emergency response system.
- Remain courteous, professional, and helpful during situations where residents or others may be upset or dissatisfied.
- Resolve problems when possible, call on management to respond, and/or document incidents/concerns and report to administration.

- Ability to problem-solve and help resolve questions and concerns.
