About the role
Nema Health is a survivor- and clinician-led virtual clinic dedicated to revolutionizing PTSD and trauma care. We provide best-in-class care to trauma survivors through the intensive delivery of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Responsibilities
- Receive extensive internal training and weekly CPT technique supervision directly from Dr. Kate Chard, co-inventor of CPT.
- Participate in cutting-edge research, program development, and receive ongoing mentorship from renowned national clinical leaders.
- Deliver highly effective, intensive care to survivors who deserve the most compassionate, evidence-based treatment available.
- To maximize recovery, patients are seen multiple times a week for the duration of their treatment (approximately 6 weeks).
- Direct Patient Care Expectation: 26 hours per week dedicated to face-to-face clinical sessions.
- Conduct thorough, precise patient diagnostic evaluations and effectively triage patients to Nema’s intensive programs or coordinate appropriate external referrals based on clinical need.
- Lead specialized skills groups (e.g., DBT skills groups) for graduates of CPT to support long-term healing.
- Partner collaboratively with the administrative team on logistics, external referrals, and direct cross-provider care coordination.
- Maintain meticulous, accurate, and timely clinical documentation and measurement-based care records.
- Provide strategic input on the recruiting, onboarding, and overall workplace experience of the growing clinical team.
- Partner with the Clinical Operations team and Clinical Leadership to optimize processes, elevate quality assurance, and ensure seamless communication.
Requirements
- PhD with at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Prior formal training and certification in CPT.
- Robust training in DBT or other trauma-focused modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure, EMDR).
- Prior clinical supervisory or management experience.
- Experience working within an early-stage, startup, or fast-paced digital health environment.
- Willingness to work two days per week from 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM and three days per week from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM in your local time zone to accommodate national patient availability.
Qualifications
- Outstanding "webside" manner, robust diagnostic abilities, and experience working with moderate-to-high-risk patient populations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, reliable, and capable of operating autonomously on core clinical duties.

Pay
$108,000 – $120,000 base salary (commensurate with experience).
Schedule
Two days per week from 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM and three days per week from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM in your local time zone to accommodate national patient availability.
