About the role
The Outpatient Mental Health Center – Gaithersburg offers a wide variety of mental health and substance use services for people of all ages, improving their quality of life, all within a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatments, and coordinate referrals to additional services.
- Use evidence-based therapies, including motivational interviewing for co-occurring disorders.
- Flexible scheduling options.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner to meet program standards.
- Participate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, and trainings to improve your clinical skills and be a part of our ever-growing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Paid mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
- Ability to make extra income by volunteering for on-call duties.

Requirements
- Must be licensed in Maryland as a:
- License, Certificate, or Certification required.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
