About the role
This role involves conducting clinical evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy (including telemedicine), and coordinating care with physicians and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Assess members' mental status and psychosocial needs.
- Deliver psychotherapy, classes, and crisis intervention tailored to treatment goals.
- Refer members to appropriate mental health providers or community resources.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare teams to ensure integrated care.
- Document mental health activities and participate in quality improvement efforts.
- Manage panel practice within departmental guidelines.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Schedule
Work four days per week as a child psychotherapist, with two days onsite and late evening hours.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of clinical mental health experience.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field.
- Credentials in multiple states; required licenses or certifications within 12 months of hire, including clinical social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist licenses.
- Adaptability, strong assessment and therapy skills, and treatment planning expertise.
- Proficiency with computer software.
- Completion of CPI training within six months.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in individual/group therapy, crisis intervention, CBT, DBT.
- Experience working with eating disorders, OCD, or BPD populations.
- Child therapy experience.
