About the Role
This position involves evaluating, planning treatment, and providing individual and group psychotherapy (including telemedicine). You will act as a consultant to healthcare providers and outside agencies, conduct mental health assessments, deliver goal-oriented therapy, perform crisis intervention, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. The role also includes preparing reports, participating in quality activities, and managing practice panels within departmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and deliver goal-oriented therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prepare reports and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Manage practice panels in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Act as a consultant to healthcare providers and outside agencies.
- Deliver individual and group psychotherapy, including via telemedicine.
Requirements
- At least five years of post-masters clinical mental health experience.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field.
- Multiple state licenses and certifications, including clinical social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy, with requirements to obtain additional credentials post-hire.
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including crisis intervention and specialized modalities like CBT and DBT.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, and practice management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and complete required training, such as CPI and PECOS enrollment.
Preferred Experience
- One or more years providing individual/group therapy, urgent care, crisis intervention, or specialized therapies such as CBT and DBT.
- Experience working with eating disorders, OCD, or borderline personality disorder populations.
