Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor - Adults

About the role

Ohel's Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program seeks creative, dedicated, and responsible staff to provide one-on-one and group support to adults with behavioral health needs. These needs may include serious emotional disturbances, mental health challenges, intellectual disabilities, or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions
• Support clients in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress

Requirements

• High School diploma and at least one year of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs, or a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• Must have good English communication skills

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for full-time positions)
