Psychology Part-Time Instructor Pool 26-27
Position Details
The Department of Psychology in the College of Social Science, Mathematics & Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time Instructors to teach General Psychology and other Psychology courses as needed.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or two 4-hour courses per semester.
- Create a syllabus and other course related materials.
- Teach according to departmental guidelines.
- Provide meeting times for students and mentor students regarding their assignments.
- Complete course grading and submit final grades on the on-line system.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical, Social, Industrial and Organizational, Cognitive, Biopsychology, Developmental or General Psychology from a Department of Psychology.
- PhD or ABD in Psychology from a Psychology Department is preferred.
- College-level teaching experience.
Qualifications
Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.
