About the Role

At DBH, the Psychologist Supervisor will supervise psychology staff and oversee clinical operations to ensure clinical services are provided to patients according to their clinical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research activities to develop policies and establish procedures for delivery of psychological services.
  • Monitor quality and effectiveness of psychology services to meet hospital standards.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed timely and accurately, including treatment goals, assessments, and progress notes.
  • Consult with administration and staff on psychological matters.
  • Assign work assignments and review work performance.
  • Ensure treatment programming and interventions are implemented as scheduled.
  • Recruit, interview, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Formulate and implement education programs for psychology and hospital staff.
  • Attend and represent the psychology department at meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Requirements

  • License to practice psychology in Ohio pursuant to Section 4732.09 and 4732.21 of the Ohio Revised Code.
  • 12 months of experience as a licensed psychologist.
  • 1 course in employee training and development or 3 months of experience providing work direction, training, or supervision to psychology students, assistants, or psychologists.

Educational Requirements

Pay

$101,774.00 - $145,475.00 annually, based on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule (16). The selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range, with an opportunity for a pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and yearly raises thereafter. A longevity supplement is available after 5 years of service.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible schedule).
