Psychologist - Part Time
About the Role
The position involves providing mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for adult and/or child members with diverse psychiatric needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate personalized treatment plans, including outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting test results, and maintaining confidential records in compliance with regulations. You will also assist in screening for psychotropic medications, utilize community resources, and help develop behavioral health programs across various settings. The role may involve providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals, supporting members' families, and participating in departmental program development while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Psychologist license required (state-specific or California within 6 months).
- Experience with DSM-V, psychological testing, diagnosis, and evidence-based practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and ethical skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, regulations, and confidentiality standards.
