Psychologist- FT- Adult Neuro Rehabilitation

About the role

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty, and ethics in the treatment of clients and each other. For over 40 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy in a post-acute brain injury rehabilitation program
• Conduct cognitive/neuropsychological assessments to guide treatment planning
• Assess and treat clients in residential programs for psychological issues such as adjustment disorder, depression/anxiety, PTSD, family stressors, personality disorders, abuse, and substance abuse histories
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support client outcomes and program development
• Opportunity to provide educational presentations and supervise psychology students

Requirements

• A master's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, or social work, along with a Georgia license to provide psychological counseling services
• A valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• The ability to lift 50 lbs
