Job Responsibilities
- Conduct autism spectrum or psychological skills assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports
- Provide feedback to clients after evaluations
- Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed
- Provide written orders for applied behavior analysis treatment for qualified new clients and continuance of services, pursuant to Michigan's state regulatory guidelines as outlined in their Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program
- Follow all regulatory guidelines in accordance with Michigan’s IBHS program
Education/Licensure
- Licensed psychologists, working within their scope of practice, with training, experience, or expertise with ASD and/or behavioral health services
Knowledge/Skills
- Use of the following psychometric instruments:
- Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)
- Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second Edition (Vineland-2)
- Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, Third Edition (ABAS-3)
- Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised- ABLLS- R
- Developmental Assessment of Young Children- DAYC
- Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge Relational Training System -Direct Training Module- PEAK- DT
- Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment & Placement Program- VB-MAPP
- Excellent report-writing skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills
Work Experience
- Two-three years' experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent working with the ASD population
- Experience with various standardized testing, as well as psychological and other autism spectrum assessment skills tools
- Experience in health care settings preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Autism and Applied behavior Analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office
