About the role

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) at MSOP Moose Lake site is seeking a Treatment Psychologist to join our team. This is a full-time, provisional position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in sex offense specific treatment, assessment, and research as a crucial member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Conduct integrated psychological assessments addressing a range of referral questions, including psychosexual, mental health, personality, and cognitive/neuropsychological functioning.
  • Present information regarding psychological assessment results, treatment progress, and other pertinent clinical data to multi-disciplinary team members.
  • Assess clients in crisis related to self-injurious behaviors and/or suicidality.
  • Lead and direct clinical activities to other psychologists, psychology interns, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary team members.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology AND Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology or License Eligible Doctoral level graduates working towards licensure.
  • Experience providing individual therapy and familiarity with residential treatment, forensic populations, and court processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with forensic populations and court processes.

Pay

$40.63 - $60.39 / hourly; $84,835 - $126,094 / annually

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday - Friday
