Nuvance Health, formerly Western Connecticut Health Network and now Northwell Health, is seeking a full-time outpatient psychiatrist for their practice in Danbury, Connecticut.

About the Role

This is an outpatient role with limited hospital coverage obligations. Our outpatient work is a hybrid model conducted by tele-health and in-person. Telehealth is an option full or part-time. Opportunity includes sign on bonus and relocation allowance.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of adult patients
• Teaching appointments with psychiatry residents and medical students
• Participation in research activities
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Conducting telehealth sessions as needed
• Providing weekend hospital coverage (paid at a competitive rate)

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• License to practice medicine in Connecticut
• Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry
