About the role
The candidate will work as a physician extender to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. The incoming candidate will work in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners and therapists to assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols, and complete medical histories, perform physical examinations, order appropriate diagnostic tests, complete medication management and make referrals for any specialty consultations and care.

Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric services preferred
- Current NYS license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Current NYS license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in psychiatric nursing or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
