Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Position Highlights

• Sunday through Saturday, excluding Federal Holidays, between the hours of 0000 and 1159 hours.
• Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5- or 11-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute lunch break, respectively.
• In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period.
• Will work in San Diego area at one of several potential locations (not in a rotation, but it might be at a Branch Clinic outside of the Balboa Hospital proper).

Position Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing.
• Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Psychiatric- Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner in the last five (5) years.
• Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) -Psychiatric- Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner (across lifespan), Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
• Any valid state NP license accepted

Pay

Salary to be determined but likely in the range of $70-$95/hr.
