Psychiatry GME Associate Program Director
About the Role
Parkridge Valley, part of Parkridge Health System, is seeking a Psychiatry Associate Program Director for the Summer of 2027 in preparation for our new Psychiatry GME program. This role involves 10 hours per month of clinical time, which can be in outpatient clinic or inpatient psychiatry, and will oversee four residents per year for a total of 16 in the program.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor psychiatry residents
- Provide strong administrative leadership and team building
- Deliver clinical care in outpatient or inpatient settings
Requirements
- Board certified in psychiatry by ABPN
- Must have or be able to obtain a Tennessee medical license
- Strong desire to teach and excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Proven administrative and team-building abilities
About Parkridge Health System
