About the role
We are seeking a Psychiatry Residency Associate Program Director to help lead our ACGME residency program in Salem, VA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
- Manage the 50% administrative and 50% clinical workload
- Collaborate with Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Virginia Tech Cook Counseling Center
Requirements
- Board certified by the ABPN or AOBNP
- Minimum of three years post-residency participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
- Previous APD experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong team building skills
- Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations are highly encouraged to apply

$114,050 - $283,400 / year
