Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician

About the role

We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry specialist to manage a caseload of approximately 40 patients, primarily focusing on a dedicated C&A unit or overseeing the entire hospital.

Responsibilities

• Providing psychiatric care and treatment for child and adolescent patients
• Managing patient caseloads in inpatient or outpatient settings, possibly across multiple sites
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners
• Participating in on-call duties, which may involve telephonic consultations and overnight coverage
• Staffing overnight nurse practitioners

Requirements

• Licensed psychiatrist with experience in child and adolescent mental health
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and clinical skills

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with two weekend shifts per month. Additional duties may impact compensation.
