About the role
A Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist is needed for a behavioral health center north of Dallas, TX. The center specializes in inpatient care for adolescents aged 13-17 with diverse psychiatric diagnoses, with occasional coverage for adult patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial psychiatric evaluations on new patients
- Lead treatment teams and provide follow-up care
- Collaborate with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Handle administrative duties such as documentation
- Participate in staff meetings
Potential Program Director leadership opportunity for qualified candidates.
Schedule
Monday-Friday schedule with a call rotation of 1:5 nights and weekends.
