Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient census of approximately 40, providing psychiatric care in a dedicated C&A unit or across the entire hospital.
• Duties may include working alongside another psychiatrist or a nurse practitioner, and could involve responsibilities at outpatient clinics or other facilities.
• The role may also include staffing the site with an overnight nurse practitioner, depending on facility needs.
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing care for pediatric patients.
• Participate in staffing, coordinate with team members, and potentially handle telephonic call responsibilities one day per week.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexibility to work across different settings and handle a varied caseload is essential.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with two weekend days per month. Additional duties may include overnight coverage if required.
