About the role
Seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for an inpatient role in a Behavioral Health Center north of Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial psychiatric evaluations for new adolescent patients aged 13-17 with diverse diagnoses
- Leading treatment teams and providing follow-up care
- Collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Managing administrative tasks such as documentation and participating in medical staff meetings
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Experience or interest in adolescent mental health
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
- Excellent communication and administrative skills

Schedule
Work schedule Monday through Friday with call duties 1:5 weeknights and weekends, participating in a multidisciplinary team within a 60-bed inpatient facility offering comprehensive adolescent and adult psychiatric services.
