The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Tulane University School of Medicine seeks applicants for a research-focused faculty role.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth, coordination, and oversight of research activities across the department.
- Collaborate closely with faculty, trainees, and associated Centers and Institutes.
- Participate in new research proposals.
- Participate in relevant departmental and school-level committees.
- Play a key role in fostering research development by offering guidance and mentorship to faculty and residents engaged in research, including clinical trials and specialty areas such as psychiatry, telepsychiatry, and addictions.
- Promote research opportunities.
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Contribute to the professional development of research-active faculty.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MD with a strong background in research, experience in academic medicine, and a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and promoting research.
