Psychiatrist/Psychologist - 1099 with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations in accordance with Title 10 CFR Part 710.
• Evaluate the individual’s mental illness or mental condition and any associated treatments.
• Provide a final written report within ten days following the completion of the evaluation.
• Attend and provide testimony at DOE administrative review hearings.
• Utilize a Department of Energy email account.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active Q or TS security clearance.
• Board-certified psychiatrist or licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Maryland.
• Maintain all required professional liability insurance or other insurance mandated by Maryland State law or any other applicable laws.
• Devote 50% of general practice to treating individuals with substance abuse problems.
• Experience testifying at administrative or criminal proceedings.
• Periodic successful completion of a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
• Ongoing reviews and tests for the absence of illegal substances.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the DOE/NNSA complex.
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
