Psychiatrist - 1099 Contractor
Provider Network Development – Contract Prescribers
Develop and maintain relationships with contract prescribers to build and expand provider networks.
Identify new prescriber opportunities and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal network coverage.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and provider network standards.
Responsibilities
Manage prescriber onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Monitor prescriber performance and provide feedback to improve adherence to network guidelines.
Respond to prescriber inquiries and resolve issues related to network membership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare provider relations or contracting.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
Current DEA license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
