Psychiatrist - Outpatient

Position Summary

Provides outpatient adult psychiatry services (age 18+) in a clinic setting, with optional ability to see patients under 18. Conducts nursing home rounds 1-2 times per month and offers ED and inpatient consultations upon request. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists. No call or weekend duties, with future telemedicine opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care
• Participate in outreach at nearby clinics and provide limited hospital consultations
• Maintain appointment schedules for med checks, rechecks, and new patient assessments

Qualifications & Skills

• Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills
