Psychiatrist - Locums Assistance

Responsibilities

• Providing inpatient and outpatient rounding for approximately 15 patients per shift
• Managing call volume with about 3 phone consults and 3 patient visits within 24 hours
• Performing involuntary commitments, restraint, and pharmacotherapy
• Conducting group therapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
• Treating a range of disorders including anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, psychotic, and organic conditions

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with diverse psychiatric treatments and crisis management
• Able to handle a variety of psychiatric conditions and procedures
