About the role
This full-time inpatient psychiatric position is for a board-certified MD with prescriptive authority to provide adult mental health services in a state hospital setting. The role involves on-site work with a patient census of 28-30 adults, each seen once weekly. No electronic medical records are used.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations
- Manage medication regimens
- Provide ongoing care for patients with long-term stays averaging over 190 days
Requirements
- Valid Washington state medical license
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Prescriptive authority

Schedule
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no call duties.
