Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This inpatient consultation liaison psychiatrist provides full-time psychiatric services for adult patients with complex medical conditions. The position involves delivering expert psychiatric care, collaborating with medical and surgical teams to ensure integrated patient management, and working in a structured hospital environment supported by multidisciplinary teams and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adult inpatient psychiatric conditions in patients with medical comorbidities
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to support comprehensive patient care
• Provide psychiatric expertise without call coverage responsibilities

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, on-site

Requirements

• Board certification in psychiatry required
• Experience with adult inpatient psychiatric care preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
