About the role

The Psychiatrist II position at Lee County, MS is responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Provide psychotherapy sessions and medication management as needed
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members

Requirements

• Current Mississippi Medical License
• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in psychiatry

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$151,566.33 - $250,000.00 Annually
