Position located at Kiley Developmental Center in Waukegan, Illinois.
About the Role
Conduct professional psychological services for individuals within the assigned caseload. Design and implement behavior modification programs and assist more experienced psychologists in training staff in behavior-modification techniques and learning theory. Serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and provide community linkage related to individual evaluation and specific psychological/psychiatric services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for assigned cases.
- Administer and complete comprehensive psychological assessments and psychological tests.
- Design, implement, and evaluate behavioral management programs.
- Collect data and report statistical information as part of the Interdisciplinary (ID) process; use data to adjust individual programming.
- Complete treatment documentation.
- Attend and participate in psychology services committees and groups.
- Stay current with new psychology-based developments and treatments regarding developmentally disabled individuals.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required within the scope of the role.
