About the role
The role of General Adult Psychiatrist at CHI Health Clinic in Council Bluffs, Iowa involves joining the dynamic Psychiatric Associates team to provide outpatient care. The position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with the flexibility to pursue a hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored, personal, and coordinated treatment to patients experiencing a wide array of mental and behavioral conditions.
- Engage in minor academic activities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery.
- Measure success through productivity, clinical benchmarks, and collaboration with the team.
- Offer personalized and coordinated care to patients.
- Adhere to evidence-based medicine guidelines to ensure the most effective and up-to-date treatments for patients.
- Tailor your practice based on clinical interests and expertise.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - General Adult Psychiatry.
- Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa.
- DEA in good standing with no restrictions.
- BLS certification.
- A record of excellence in clinical care and education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.
