Psychiatrist

About the role

Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center seeks a Psychiatrist to join their team. The facility includes Adult Psychiatric Services treating forensic clients and Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services treating sexually violent predators. Both units offer specialized programs for different subpopulations.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of forensic and sexually violent predator clients
• Teaching through affiliations with two nearby medical schools
• Participation in program development and evaluation
• Volunteer on-call duties to supplement income

Requirements

• A full and unrestricted Missouri license
• Forensic psychiatry training or experience preferred
