About the role

We are hiring for a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker in North Hampton County. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitations services, including recovery, stigma, health and wellness, and personal development.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise the Functional Assessment and Person-Centered Plan.
  • Support individuals in developing various skill-building activities.
  • Monitor service utilization to ensure effectiveness, appropriateness, and alignment with the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Counsel and guide individuals to effectively handle problems and build positive relationships.
  • Aid individuals in accessing community resources aligned with their personal goals for community involvement.
  • Prepare and complete necessary documentation within required timeframes.
  • Utilize safe crisis management techniques to manage agitated and hostile behaviors without physical restraints.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with key stakeholder groups and build new relationships as needed.
  • Direct communication with management and executives.
  • Identify and execute on growth opportunities that align with the company’s service array and mission.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use challenges.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if required for transportation.

Skills

  • Ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation and recovery principles.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and record-keeping.
