Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in Massachusetts
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods.
• Lifting/moving patients.

Pay

Competitive salary per annum: $125,000 - $175,000 (incentive-based compensation model)

Schedule

Full-Time; Contract 1099. Flexible work hours are available.
