Job Duties

  • Provide diagnostic services to all on the identified caseload.
  • Request and monitor lab results as needed.
  • Complete Psychiatric and Mental Health Assessments from intake to prescription with evidenced based practices.
  • Patient education and any contraindications on medication names, dosages, functions, and side effects.
  • Write prescriptions for all consumers on the identified caseload and monitor/manage side effects as needed.
  • Avoid approving refills, coordinate with pharmacies, and maintain current orders.
  • Aid in the development, implementation, and monitoring of emergency services and protocols for individual care.
  • Must be familiar with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, ADHD and able to assess and or do medication management including continuity of care with LAI.
  • Able to comply with regulations and prescribe controlled substances as regulated by DEA and any applicable OAR’s.

Qualifications

  • Extended Class Registration Examination completion
  • Masters Degree, nursing
  • University/college psychiatric nursing program

Compensation

Compensation: $110-125 per hour
