Responsibilities

  • Provides routine evaluations and follow-up care for agency clients/patients.
  • Utilizes evidence-based nursing practice or physician assistant practice appropriate to the setting.
  • Maintains medical charts, records, and documentation in accordance with standard nursing practice and agency policies.
  • Completes clinical work tasks during work hours each day.
  • Provides assistance and direction to agency staff in establishing treatment/service plans, as needed.
  • Maintains professional composure under stress. Manages conflict at all levels. Manages conflicting demands. Delegates appropriately.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures. Consults with internal and external sources.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing and a valid Ohio license.
  • Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Ohio.
  • Must have current, full, active certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from the American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license.
  • Must work within a Standard Care Arrangement. May be required to travel between sites as necessary.
  • Requires 2 years of advanced practice nursing experience.
