Savia Community Counseling is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. This part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) offers a supportive, collaborative environment focused on high-quality, client-centered mental health care.

Schedule

  • Part-time, up to 20 hours per week
  • Two in-office days and one hybrid day per week
  • Morning and afternoon availability preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using our EMR system
  • Educate clients on diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
  • Participate in clinical consultations and team meetings as needed
  • Provide services in person and via telehealth in accordance with state and organizational guidelines

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license
  • At least 2-5 years of experience as a PMHNP
  • Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management preferred
  • Experience administering TMS preferred but not required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Flexibility in in-person and hybrid schedule, with morning and afternoon availability
  • Credentialing with Medicare and other insurance panels is a plus but not required
