MDB Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care and psychotropic medication management to residents of long-term care facilities in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area. Position details Location: Hot Springs, ArkansasEmployment type: Part-timeSchedule: Standard business hoursWork setting: Long-term care facilities Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needsPrescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medicationsCollaborate with facility staff and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careMaintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standardsEducate and support patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment plansParticipate in clinical research initiatives when applicable Required Qualifications Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing, or an equivalent qualificationCurrent Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in ArkansasAdditional required credentials: AANP/ ANCC and DEA license required Preferred Qualification Familiarity with clinical documentation practices and occupational health principles
