About the role

Peregrine Health is seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients across the lifespan (ages 5+).
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with patient goals.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person care.
• Address co-occurring disorders, including substance use, with a comprehensive, evidence-driven approach.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in partner-site EHR systems to support care continuity.
• Engage patients through telehealth platforms to ensure accessibility and equity in care delivery.

Requirements

• Ambitious and motivated to build and shape behavioral health programs that evolve with patient needs.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital tools, ensuring effective remote patient engagement.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working across teams and patient populations.

Qualifications

• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
• Active DEA license.
• At least three years of clinical experience in community-based mental health settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases independently.
• A commitment to full-time engagement.
